I am Italian and rarely eat Italian food in a restaurant, because quite honestly, I can cook better than most restaurants can. I've lived in Italy, and I know what good Italian food is all about. I've driven past Buon Gusto for years but never stopped in. Last week I came in for a pizza. It was around 3 pm, and still the place had plenty of tables filled. This is a delicious place. My favorite is the Alla Dio, magnificent. The place is a little noisy one big open room and gets very crowded, best time to go is around 5. The variety of types of spaghetti noodles are wonderful. Family owned and operated, fantastic staff. Large portions, everyone ,except my Dad of course, takes home leftovers. Highly recommend it to everyone. Wish I lived closer so could visit more frequently. No great pasta places near me in Fullerton.
