I rang Bunnings in Bathurst last week and booked a ute for one hour for last Friday to move a couch. I was told it was booked for 9am and it would be $28 plus mileage and petrol. I rang on Friday morning before I went to pick up the ute and I was told my booking was not on the booking sheet and they did not have a working ute. The girl said they could get me one from Orange, which is 54kms away! I was lucky to get a truck from Avis for a whole day, which cost me $169.
