The place is a mess. Staff did not know where items were. They did not even know where aisles numbers were. Commonly bought items like superglue and araldite were upstairs out of the way. We did two laps upstairs and downstairs and then end up having to just find things ourselves which ended up being in totally different locations. Most staff tried to be helpful however the lady in self check area was obviously close to the end of her shift and not very friendly. I visited their Alexandria store for the first time today. As I walked in, I asked the lady on the door what time they were closing & she said 'usual time'. Not knowing what the 'usual time' was, I asked her & she snapped back 'it's 7 o'clock'. I get that she'd probably had a long, hard day but I really didn't need, want or appreciate her attitude.
I encountered the rudest, most racist, employee tonight. Did not catch her name but she was attending the self service cashier. After my friend and I paid, we were planning to take the used free boxes at the side. Apparently we were only able to collect 3 boxes from the pile, which was fine - I was sussing out the sizes which apparently took time.
