This is one of those weird things on How do you rate a Funeral Home. All I can tell you is everything was very smooth calming comforting. They gave us the time to reflecting what needed to be done. They gently prodded in the directions that we needed to head towards. From the initial phone call saying that my father had died and we need to have his body picked up, all the way through the burial great staff, great team.

Jim Buma and his entire team helped make the passing of both my Mom and Dad supported. They made me feel we were part of one big family. Their professionalism, caring, and knowledge are second to none. They took the stress away from making any and all decisions while being respectful to my Mom and Dad's specific wishes. I cannot possibly say enough about the entire team. I will always be grateful I had them by my side.

Buma’s was the best choice for both my brothers & mother’s service. Jim is one of the kindest and most thoughtful individuals during such a hard time for your family. They are compassionate and take care of so much for you and guide you through the rest.

My husband and I have only been in Milford for eight years, and we were unfamiliar with the funeral homes in the area. When my husband passed away in May, I had to scramble to find a place to handle the cremation. Buma-Sargeant Funeral Homes was mentioned by several friends and kept coming up in my research.
