Comfort... those old favorite things you rely on that bring you comfort. MACHO NACHO, for 30 years my wife and i could go there, order our comfort food, and return to our stressful life. This evening as we go to our favorite comfort restaurant to indulge in our favorite comfort food, we were informed of a new menu which lacks our favorite comfort food for the past many years. Beers on top, beef brisket, burger night.
This restaurant kicked my brother and his friend out for no reason other than someone had told a manager they had had covid-19. They are both paramedic first responders and contracted the virus three weeks ago from a patient they were transporting. Even after explaining this to management, that they are not contagious and have been in quarantine AND have been medically cleared by their physicians to return to work serving the public, they were still asked to leave the property. We do not have a policy against first responders. I was given bad information, and I acted on it. My apologies. With what information I had, which was that the person had an ACTIVE Covid case, of course I can't let them remain in the restaurant. Again, how else would I have known other than what a family member conveyed. Maybe best that the original family member not discuss medical information with our staff.
