We are in Charleston on vacation and went on the haunted jail tour. It was really an enlightening experience. The historical knowledge that was shared was very interesting. The understanding of spirits was just one piece, but the history of the building and grounds are haunting in themselves and so very tragic. Sara(h) our guide was interesting, fun, and engaging. she made the experience memorable and told the stories with respect and intrigue. Thanks!

Bulldog Tours delivers wondrous tours and experiences, all of which are highly insightful and enjoyable, and all of which are at a cheap cost. MUST READ THIS REVIEW... No need to seek out other reviews, this one is the blatant truth. My girlfriend and I did two tours in two nights, first the graveyard tour and then the jail tour (June 14th and 15th 2019). The graveyard tour went off with out any issues. Extremely well-versed tour guide Stu kept our interests peaked the entire tour of the USS Yorktown. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Would highly recommend adding this to your bucket list.

I have been on almost every Bulldog haunted tours and tonight we did the graveyard tour. Honestly each tour depends on the guide for the experience and tonight having Adam was an amazing experience. He is so personable and genuine. Sharing his own ghost encounters and fears made it best guide ever- my first being in 1988. Thx Adam for being a part of our anniversary long weekend get away extra!

The Charleston Uptown Walking Tour, with David Romein, was a very nice experience discovering a part of the city different from its impressive Historic District. Great stories and knowledge from David , with special and spontaneous interactions with a couple of owners of old houses , as well as the team from one of the oldest firehouses in the US.

We did the day tour of the old Charleston jail/prison. Easy to book tour, staff was helpful, and our guide (Andrew) was excellent. Only issue is one that is common today, the lack of simple courteous of others to at least silence their phone, and definitely not answer and start talking.
