Edit 9-16-23.... Drove by today Nad it's gone. Just like I stated in previous review...nonway this place was gonna make it. ***edit*** We went back again and the good bar tender was working and our food was good...guess it depends when you go and who's working*** This place is like a yoyo. Wow! Not a place for a low cal meal, but with a name like Bulldog Ale House, that should be pretty obvious. Deeeeeeelicious!!! And our server was so attentive and friendly. Everyone was. We're definitely going back when we're back in town. Their smoked old fashioned was also the best old fashioned and one of the best cocktails I've ever had.

The reason for the 3-star rating was service. We went on a weeknight (a Thursday I think) and were greeted, less than warmly, by the host(ess) stand. Once we were seated at the bar, the bartender was very slow. In her defense, she was new and making a drink she wasn't familiar with. Still, it took at least 10 minutes for one drink and there were only two other customers, drinking beer, who didn't require service. There was also only one food menu offered.
