Beware this Dental Office Please run from this dentist. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD. It is all about the money here. If you read other reviews you will see the procedures they perform are often questionable or determined to be unnecessary by other doctors/dentists. We are going to the attorney general with our complaints. Read reviews on Yelp and elsewhere. Put it out on Facebook. Shady Practice A shady practice at best! Do not give them your charge card #, they will use it without your permisssion, even though you have checked to call you prior to using! And on top of that, they will offer you flouride treatment knowing full well that your insurance will not cover it after the age of 19. Dr. Dano was not available to us to discuss either problem.
M The office manager is the most unprofessional woman I have ever dealt with. She told me in no uncertain terms to go elsewhere even though I was willing to spend $6200 on my daughters braces. She then said I was verbally abusive because I didn't believe the information whe gave me. Do NOT give them your credit card number! Thankfully my debit card had expired or they would have charged me $500 for a spacer my daughter didn't even need. Don't give them your credit card! We saw Dr. Hauppers. My son came home from his appt and was told he had 9 cavities. This shocked me since a year before he had none. I was told that they were tiny but you should fix them right away before they develop into larger cavities. While my son was there they gave him samples which included a MI paste...My husband took my daughter there for her appt. RUN as fast as you can this joker hasnt got a clue how to talk or treat people he has no class and even less manners. he even treats his staff poorly, if you need a dentist, there are alot of good ones in McHenry, that appreciate new patients and wont break your wallet... be warned... .

Dr. John Dano: The Best There Is Dr. John Dano of Bull Valley Dentistry is the best dentist I have ever had and the only one I would recommend. Excellent Dental Care I have been a patient of Dr. Dano's for more than twenty years. I feel that he is dedicated to providing the best possible care for his patients. He keeps up on the latest techniques and uses state of the art equipment which means that the work he does on my teeth will not need to be re-done by someone else down the road (as was the case with work done by my previous dentist).. 5-star dentist, 2-star business I have to admit, I had to update my review since I was going through a battle with this dentist's office at the time I initially reviewed them. In fairness I will say, as I mentioned the first time Dr. Dano is a perfectionist, he loves his work and he is good at it. If you need any cosmetic work done, this is the place to go.
