Warm and friendly – This place has a nice bar to hang out after work. The bar crowd between 5 and 7 is engaging and there is free food with your drinks. Love the perks. I did not have dinner here yet, but the pizza they serve at the bar for the happy hour is really good and thin. They also serve meatball with tomato sauce as a complimentary treat to bar guests. I'll go back for the happy hour for sure. They seem to have tables for big groups in the back. I might try them out if I have a party.

Best pizza ever! – The restaurant is located in TriBeCa on Greenwich st. The block is full of other food establishments, but this one stands out for the food and the ambiance. I particularly love the pear and gorgonzola pizza. The thin crust makes it a good appetizer and the taste is strong. Another dish I love is the grilled branzino with cous cous on the side. Last time I went there the branzino wasn't on the menu anymore (So disappointing...) so I tried the short rib ravioli. I have to say they are really tasty and make a... read more

Great food and attentive service – I have been at Trattoria Cinque several times, some of them with my kids and some with my husband alone. I found the place a good place for our family brunches, because of the large tables, crayons for the kids, bread with chocolate for the wait and keep the kids busy. I also enjoy going there for quiet dinners with hubby. The atmosphere is great, the service is attentive and food is great. You gotta try the pizza with gorgonzola and pears. So yummy!! I must have it al the times. The desser... read more

Mouth watering – My first time here was only over shadowed by my second visit! I couldn't believe how delicious and succulent the meat was... the staff is impeccable and the atmosphere was divine!

Worst service ever – I came here for Brunch with my children, 6 and 4. While returning from the bathroom, we were shocked to see that our entire table has been cleaned up. We have not paid yet, not even get the bill ! While sitting at what was our table, waiting TO PAYand the food that my children have not eaten yet, they brought new customers to be seated ! Unrreal. The place is huge and there were PLENTY of empty tables. Safe to say we will never return. It is a shame as the setting is nice and we live close by. Food was a... read more

Warm, Italian dining...great for groups! – This place is definitely worth a trip. All items on the menu are in groups of 5, along with price points being multiples of 5, hence the name: Trattoria Cinque! This restaurant is right in the heart of Tribeca along the Greenwich Street strip that is well known for its various eateries. I've never had to wait and the service is always prompt and tastefully done. The menu also changes around the seasons. I have yet to attack their spring selections, but based on the experience I had ... read more

One of my Favorite Italian Restaurants! – This place is truly a gem, although it's so spacious you wouldn't even think that you're in the Village! The waitstaff and owner are all authentically Italian and exude warmth! The food is incredible. I loved the Gorgonzola, pear and truffle oil thin crust pizza, cheese, rice balls, short rib pasta, octopus appetizer, cured meats, tiramisu, chocolate cake.... everything about this restaurant was lovable! There's even a fireplace that adds to the ambiance. And all entrees are under $2... read more

Citysearch Editorial Review – This airy Italian bistro makes good use of its expansive, brick-walled space, filling it with leather banquettes, family-style dining room tables and mismatched chairs reminiscent of home (that is, if your home includes two fireplaces and a Caesar salad station). With all dishes priced under $25, it’s possible to try a few plates of pasta without spending all your dough, like the pillowy ricotta dumplings topped with truffle shavings or the classic lasagna Bolognese, served in a homey cast-iron ... read more
