Construction was excellent but design is a real problem. The height they built the pergola provides absolutely no protection from the rain. The deck covering they took down was level with the roof. It kept my furniture and deck dry and you could sit out when it rained which was wonderful. Now with the pergola so high there is absolutely no protection and you might as well be standing in the rain.
