History Established in 1987. Bugg Motors first got its start in Appomattox Virginia in the mid 70's. My father and I always shared a passion for older vehicles, and it just so happened that the Volkswagen Bug was one of our favorites! We would locate and purchase older Bug's that had been forgotten, and spent many nights together restoring them to their original stature. Writing this about a year after getting our (my Twin and my) 2000 GMC Safari from here. Wonderful staff, Martha was particularly skilled in making/keeping conversation WHILE doing the paperwork on/through the computer. She was candid, up front, and knowledgeable. Wonderful experience. As for the vehicle, we flipped it on its side hitting ice in Feb, 2018- had to replace the windshield, and paint(soon!) Then new tires and breaks.
