When my parents visit they love staying here! It’s close to Garden of the Gods, easy to get to Manitou and downtown COS, plus their rooms are always clean and quiet. They loved watching all the Santa cyclists ride in on the Saturday they were visiting! And if I don’t want to entertain my parents, Buffalo Lodge has live music and group bike rides! Win for me and my parents!

Whatever y’all do PLEASE do not stay here especially if you have a family… I stayed in room 133 found bed bugs crawling all over the top bunk. I lost my favorite shirt to this disgusting place. I do NOT play about bed bugs but clearly this sorry excuse of a “resort” does.

My wife and I are not really bicycle riders any more but we stayed here so we could be near the Pikes Peak Cog Railway and we were so happy we did. This is going to be one of our go to escapes, we absolutely loved our stay. Very friendly and accommodating. We love rustic motels and have stayed in many of them, I can tell you this is one of the best we have experienced. We enjoyed our short stay here. The room was cute, it was nice and quiet during the off-season, and the staff were extremely nice. Good coffee, too.

The lodge itself hosts live music and isn't as hectic as a bar. The servers were very sweet. The rooms are much better than you'd think they are clean and quaint tho no 5star hotel it's still a very nice place to spend time by the fire.
