My Labrador Retriever went to a different vet for most of her life. The veterinarian’s there treated her like she was too much to handle and were aggressive towards her. I began taking my dog to Dr. Patrick at buffalo grove animal hospital and I can only say great things! He is extremely kind, treats my dog like his own, gets down on his knees to greet her, kisses her, and never minds when she is excited. I spent over $600 here getting my dogs checked out and renewing prescriptions for Heartgard and Apoquel. The most frustrating part was Apoquel: I was quoted roughly $600 for a month’s supply through their preferred option, while Amazon Pharmacy had the same medication for about $90. Even though I was given a written prescription, I waited over a week only to be told they would not work with Amazon to fulfill it. Dr. Schaele took great care of our dog who needed surgery and he took great care of us as well, as we went through a stressful time. He kept us apprised of what was going on, checked in on how the patient was doing once we took her home, and he was caring and attentive through the whole process.

Just want to say, the owner of this establishment is amazing. He goes above and beyond and really cares for his clients and their owners. Can’t thank him enough for everything. 10/10 recommend.

Great animal care! Very responsive and appointments have been easy to make. at my last appointment they took my cat and myself right into a room email we didn’t have to sit with the doggies, A++ on that!
