I have been using this store for some time now and the customer service is great. The gameplay opportunities are quite comprehensive and there seems to be a bit of everything based on whatever you may be into. Ben is the store manager and is consistently kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this game shop - good luck if you choose to give this place a try... -Peter S.
Its a solid spot for retro gaming, and Magic the gathering among Warhammer and X-wing as well as D&D product. I wish there was more of a selection in Yu-gi-oh product in terms of boosters but the store has to flow with what they got and what sells like any other business. Still a solid locals spot though. 3.5/5

Great store and great people
i am a huge fan of this store. I love out of state but every time I visit Buffalo I make sure to visit HotG. The staff is friendly, they always have something interesting to buy, and they have competitive pricing (more so with MTG which I love)
Great customer service, really puts the friendly in Friendly Local Game Store. Highly recommended.
