Drove 45 minutes after checking twice on Google Maps and their website to make sure they say they are open for lunch on Saturday. They are not - the restaurant was closed between 11 AM and- 3 PM on Saturday, so it was quite the disappointment. How hard must it be to update timings on your business’s Google Maps entry? My boyfriend and I came here for the first time for a first date and it absolutely exceeded our expectations! We had the Caesar salad, cacio e pepe, and the vodka arrabbiata pizza. Let me start by saying the Caesar salad was the best we’ve ever had. Perfect balance of salinity, acid, and creaminess with grated breadcrumbs instead of chunks which made such a huge difference. The pizza did have big outer round that had nothing on it and only little bit in the center there is cheese or barely any vegetable even the one that had vegetable option. The pizza price was on an average 18 dollars and I would not pay more than ten dollars . So it was disappointing as everyone needs to order at least one pizza . If you take the birthday cake theysaid it is a small fee and it was 25 dollars and we took the candles matchbox. They provided a knife and plates. But 25 dollars was a lot. I absolutely loved this place! The pizza was SO good! in my opinion, even better than some of the pizza I’ve had in Italy The service was also amazing. Everyone was so friendly, kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I had such a lovely time here and would definitely come back next time I’m in Austin!
