RecommendedI have been going to this office for nearly 15 yrs. I have to say this is the best urgent care facility I have experienced. The Medical assistants and nurses are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Becker and Dr. Cohen are amazing. They are easy to talk to, provide effective treatment plans, have a spectacular bed side manner. Tip: If you've been sick and on bed rest for a couple of days, don't plunge straight back into your exercise routine right away. You'll need to take it easy on your heart and the rest of your body by not plunging into intense cardio, etc. Try restorative yoga, walking, etc.
We have been to this Urgent Care several times in the past 3 years and the care and treatments is EXCELLENT. The facility is VERY clean and easy to find as well has an abundance of parking. All the staff is welcoming and VERY thorough. As a Canadian, they offer TERRIFIC CARE AND the ease of paperwork is tremendous. While on business in Orlando, I experienced slight chest pain and shortness of breath. Took Uber to BV Urgent care. Dr Becker took an ekg and strongly suggested I check into the ER at a nearby hospital for a blood enzyme check. Two days later I had a stent placed near my heart. Had he not taken the ekg and convinced me to seek tests not available at his place, I would have probably flown home and potentially had serious heart damage on the way. I can't say enough great things about this office and the wonderful staff. My 5 year old daughter got sick while we were vacationing at Disney. She was very nervous about having to go to a doctor she didn't know and taking an Uber ride which she didn't understand, combined with nausea from her ear infection so she ended up soiling her clothes while in the office. This is the best Urgent Care I've been to so far. The lobby is very small and was very busy this Saturday, but with about 12 patients before me I only waited 1 hour which I thought was very reasonable on a Saturday morning. The staff was very friendly and efficient and fast with processing, and nurse was very friendly. Doctor Cohen was very friendly and concerned and professional. I would definitely go here again and recommend it.
After reading reviews I decided to take my son to this urgent care center while on vacation. After waiting 45 minutes, the doctor saw my son for 5 minutes and prescribed an antibiotic, steroid, Benadryl and children's Sudafed. This seemed like a lot of medication so I called my own pediatrician to verify the amount. She completely disagreed and asked me not to give my son all that medication! I do not recommend this center.
Just moved to the area and was very sick with bronchitis. This facility was staffed by a professional, knowledgeable and friendly front office. Was seen by an MD with minimal wait time. I was examined and treated by Dr Becker who was very nice and reassuring. I highly recommend this urgent care.
