Super friendly! – What a super friendly enviorment servers are professional and friendly and will work with you thru the kitchen to feed even the finicky or allergic customer.. Even met Bud himself wasnt sure if there was even a Bud or it was just a name what a friendly Man with a wealth of food knowledge .. The food was excellent and more then enough ! I consider the price just you actually get what you pay for !!
Best food in town! – I think Bud's seafood is the best american restaurant in town. I love their steak plates and my husband loves their half shelf oysters!
Awesome – While the food is not flashy, it is consistent and good. My favorite things to order here are the clam chowder (haven't had any better - even on the East Coast), whatever fresh fish is available (I ask the food server), the Bud's Beef - which is amazing, and the Chicken Marsala. The salads are great, too. For dessert, the cheesecake is outstanding, as is the flan and the pots de creme. My wife surprised me on a date night and we went to an old favorite of her's Bud's Seafood. Loved everything from the rolls to the desert. Awesome food and great service with a smile. Well worth every penny spent there that night without a doubt. I must say they also have some of the best Clam chowder I have eaten. Good place to stop for a hearty flavorful lunch too.

agree and disagree – I am a former server of Bud's Seafood. I agree with the first and second reviews. As a former server I will admit that some of the people that work there are incredibley rude. Honestly though, in our defense, customers could be a little more polite to us. There are a lot of people out there that go to a restaraunt and treat the person or persons serving them like dirt. Overpriced We went there because it had been written up in the tourist magazine as the best seafood in Stockton. The food was overpriced. Small portions and not very flavorful. We arrived about 6pm to a relatively empty restaurant, when asked if we had a reservation, which we did not, we were seated in the bar area next to the restroom, as if it was the only table available. When we left about 45 min later there were still lots of empty tables. Very disappointed, will not return.
You want to know great food? Here you go! – I'm a food snob, that's what my friends/family call me. I start picking from the top.. the waitress, water, appetize. Irs, bread(if any), main course, and dessert. I tell people what I like, what I don't, and how it could be better. All in my own opinion of course.
