Great caution is advised – they simply withdraw money from your account after your stay. I stayed at the Budget Inn Hotel 118 W 4th St, The Dalles, OR 97058 in The Dalles from 05/25 to 06/25/2025. Now, on 07/31/2025, the shock: they have withdrawn another $300! Despite several inquiries, since the manager is apparently on vacation, I still have not received any response. I am not the only one this has happened to, so people, be very careful. I am now going to the police to file a report.
Hotel was terrible , service was terrible. Lady really chased me to my car begging for a $20 late fee because I was unaware about the 10:30 check out. Didn’t even knock just went ahead and came in when my boyfriend and I were sound asleep literally at 10:30. I woke up with my feet covered in bites really hoping it’s not bed bugs but I seriously don’t doubt it while my boyfriend woke up with hives all over his 2 arms which is actually disgusting
Tv in the room didn’t work at all there was a couple that was banging and moaning on the wall directly paired to our bedroom called the front desk and asked to switch rooms they said “well there’s no rooms available and the tv works” we explain that no. The tv did not work and it’s now 2 a.m and were definitely gonna have trouble getting on the road and having a safe travel continuing on.
Clean room. Affordable.
Easy to find location. Friendly check in staff. Motorcycle friendly parking. Rooms were pretty good. Had an actual coffee pot. Good water pressure. Only complaint would be the place is very noisy. People being loud until late in the night and then again very early in the morning. Otherwise it's worth the stop.
