I came up to Mackinac just for the weekend and all other hotels were booked. This was a last resort, the place is very outdated and needs much upgrade. The bed felt like sleeping on some plywood along with the sheets feeling like paper. I went to use the shower and found there to be no towels and no wash cloths. On top of all that there were bugs in my room with stained carpets with trash hidden under every little thing. Was a nice stay.. only issue is the restaurants there are so expensive.. gotta pack food before you go so you don't go broke

I had to drive to the motel next door to check in. The staff were not welcoming at all or helpful at all! The room smelled musty and moldy. There were flies the liked to hang out on the bedspread (sign that they aren't cleaned after use) Then there's the bathroom... Poop splattered on the walls. It look like someone wiped their butt with the door frame. Spiders in the bath tub, and the toilet didn't flush!!! I had to call the front desk to get the wifi password (not friendly at all) It was late and I didn't want to deal with... read more
