This car rental with budget has been the worse experience of my life. I first got the car and couldn’t find the car. After asking the staff they also took a while to find the car you guys might want to monitor inventory. It turns out that the key had low battery and the system was not working. I was already one hour behind. When I turn the car, I see that the car has 20% battery. Traveling from NYC to DC would take me more than a 20% battery. It took me an hour and 30 minutes to charge. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Possibly the worst experience I've ever had. We had a car rental pickup at 7 PM, and we arrived on the dot at 7 PM. In the 10 mins before that, we called the desk multiple times because the location is pretty confusing and no one picked up. When we arrived, the desk was empty, and then a few mins later, a person arrived to pick up his hat from the counter and said "we're closed". I have had 3 terrible experiences renting cars here and I usually go to EWR but the location is close to me so I still try to give them a chance and always end up disappointed. The card machines are never working, they are just there for display. I have made 5 reservations here and have only been able to get a car twice because for some reason, my Amex always fails to swipe (only happens with them) and they don’t have the ability to tap or a chip reader. I read a lot of negative comments so before I had to pick up the car I was a bit worried. That was certainly not justified. I came to pick up the car in the morning and there were already three employees downstairs on the ground floor doing the administration. Within 5 minutes we could already go to the 2nd floor to pick up the car. No hard to find. The only negative thing is that the car I rented was not clean, smelled of smoke and was quite damaged and not fuelled with gasoline.

Don’t rent or return here!!! Difficult to find , no indications on return. It says 4th floor but there’s nothing there. So I had to drive back to ground floor. I was charged late fee for no reason. I waited for while in a queue to return the car and they charged extra 90$ (a days charge) for this time.
