The Castleton store SPECIFICALLY is the truth!! Amy was hospitable, kind, patient, professional and informative. There were several customers waiting with me and we all agreed that she is THE BEST!!! Budget owes her a raise!!
I picked up my vehicle on the 20th of December, extreme time crunch or I would have canceled my reservation. The vehicle was dirty, food in the trunk, fries etc. They didnt so much as vacuum the chips and food off the floor. Please do not rent from this location. You should never get so busy that each customer isnt treated with the same consideration and respect as the next. I thought all the negative reviews would hopefully be incorrect but they are in fact an understatement. I reserved a 12ft box truck well in advance for my move and when I showed up they said my reserved truck is no longer available. The lady at the front desk even had the audacity to say a cargo van is replaceable - if I wanted a cargo van, I would have reserved a cargo van which is its own separate category. Lack of Customer Service and Integrity. I picked up my car at the 82nd street location. The person at the desk, which I think is the owner was polite. The issue began when the detail person handed me the slip of paper that indicated the damages on the car and said the car only had a 1/4 tank of gas. He said to just return it that way. I reviewed the dashboard and noticed that it did not even have a 1/4 tank. So, I took a picture of the dashboard to show mileage and fuel reading.
