Horrible experience. I wanted to add a driver, I specifically called and asked if I was speaking to someone at the John Wayne Airport budget rental. I could not understand the person speaking and he could not understand me. We live in America. I wish companies would hire people that can speak English. Very helpful staff , when you're returning the car just drive pass the office you picked up the car at and go all the way to the end of the Lane .

I am not someone who will post a bad review but herw it is. We rented a car at the John Wayne airport and we got the vehicle really fast. We took photos of minor damages and headed on our way to our hotel We did not drive tha car for 2 days since we walked to Disney. In our third day here, we decided to Drive to Cabrillo and we stopped at a ready area. I kind of notice the right side bumper was not fully attached. Pretty bad check in experience. Waited in line for about 20 min, was then told to go to the counter in the parking garage. Only had 4 people in front of me and it took an hour before I finally got a car key. I’m shocked that the process is actually that slow that even with fast track preferred it took the person in front of me over 20 min to get a car.

Extremely Poor Experience! Over the last 50+ years I have traveled both for business as well as pleasure trips and have rented cars many times. Without a doubt this was the worst experience ever! The problem was not with the reservation that I made through Costco Travel but was with the agent at the pick up location at Budget Car Rental at SNA (John Wayne - Orange County Airport).
