I brokedown in amarillo tx on 3/28 and because my company cant repair me until monday i decided to reserve a rental car. Avis was closed so I reserved with budget and I ubered there. I presented my identification and credit card and representative asked me for insurance. After trying to remember my password several times my account locked. I see a lot of bad reviews, but most are really old. If they had problems in the past, they have fixed them. I got exactly the car the I reserved, and it was clean and new. Only 12K miles on it. The staff was awesome. They drove me to the airport in my car, so didn't need to get the bags out. I filled the tank, they acknowledged it, no charges. Loved it, thank you for making it easy!
I had a great experience with Budget Amarillo. They had a shuttle to take me to the location from the airport, and had plenty of staff to accommodate the 4-5 customers that showed up at that time. The facility itself is older, and my car wasn’t brand new, but their service was great. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
Budget Car Rental, Rented a Nissan Kicks for a couple days. The guy that did the paper work was nice and helpful. Picked up my son and he went to buckle his seat belt in the passenger seat and found that the seat belt had a tear. We took it back to exchange the car (Due to being unsafe) Pulled in there lot and an older lady was working. I didn't know her name. But, she asked me what the problem was.
