Prepare to be disappointed. I booked a moving truck 3 weeks in advance to move my household. I get there to pick it up and there is no truck. Lady at the front desk says "Sorry, we tried. The soonest we can get one is tomorrow, maybe by noon". I would have appreciated a call to let me know that they couldn't get the truck. That would be regular business etiquette. STAY AWAY FROM BUDGET IN BAKERSFIELD. They are owned by the same person and will refuse to help you with any issues you have. They will refuse to talk with budget customer service on the phone, they will refuse to swap a car due to safety issues and then refuse to take the car back when canceling reservation. Because they wouldnt help and i was not driving the car anymore due to major safety issues i rented another car from hertz in balersfield and returned the budget rental. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Just like all of the other stories on here, the lady at the front desk, with overdrawn lipstick and the short black hair told me and my husband that we could return the car to the airport and not at the budget location off of Wilbur Road and she lied because when we came to turn it into the airport BEFORE 10am they charged us $150 even though that’s where she told us we could drop it off.
