I booked an "Elite SUV" with Budget and had a terrible experience. When I arrived to pick up the car, they told me I needed an additional form of ID, something that was never mentioned before or sent via email. If I had known in advance, I would have brought my passport and everything would have been fine. Instead, at the last minute they wouldn’t let me pick up the car, ruining my plans. **Advice:** DO NOT RENT WITH BUDGET. Poor communication and zero consideration for customers.

First off every single person that works the counter there should not be allowed to work customer service jobs. They're ALL incredibly rude. They treat customers like they could care less whether Budget stays in business or not. The 1st time I went I ended up leaving w/o renting partly b/c i wasn't informed you could only rent w/ a credit card even though I made the reservation w/ a debit card & partly b/c of how rude the lady was at the counter. This is my last rental with Budget- this location is horrible and they are renting unsafe cars. My reservation was for a Tesla- they had one available. It had scapes up and down both sides, severe tire/ rim curb rash and when I went to get in the car, the pillar trim between the front and back was hanging from the seatbelt exposing the airbag system and mechanical wires. Scammers!!!! Don't go to them at all!!! STAY AWAY!!! I prepaid for a car, and when I showed up at the desk, they said they didn't have my car! They said tough luck, and I could check in a few hours later to see if they had a car. The woman told me that pre pay at budget does this all the time. They promise it's cheaper and more convenient, but then they just rent out the car you pre ordered. I called their services, and they said I could pick it up at a location 9 miles away.
