Very scummy, make sure to read the fine print. I returned my rental car and they decided to charge me the full $450 cleaning fee AND refuse to give me the $200 deposit I made when I picked up the car. No detail job costs $650 out of a customer's pocket (on a $150 reservation!) when there is no damage. Budget can feel free to call me to partially remedy this situation. $600 in savings gone because I didn't pay for a $100 detail before returning.

I made an online, pre-paid reservation and was called the day of the reservation telling me “sorry, we don’t have ANY cars at all to give you. You’ll have to get to CVG to get a car”. No offer of any help or even a discount. AND I had to call a separate number and wait on hold to get my money back. Terrible customer service and really screwed up my whole day and travel plans.

Beware. You rent a car which is not washed or cleaned. Then get charged excessive dirt charge for the interior after when it was already dirty in the first place. I took pictures of the exterior but only only one of the dash on the interior. They will try and get you for more charges so take pictures or go to a reputable rental car place other than Budget.

Absolutely Terrible. They rented me the car with very dirty engine oil, the car had cigarette smoke and dial of car features did not work. I pleaded to change engine oil but nobody was ready to help to change engine oil. I changed the oil at my cost. After three weeks, I got bill of $450 for the cleaning cost. The cigarette smoke was the reason of the cleaning cost that I faced for the two weeks of rental. Employees were kind, professional, and helpful. Picking up my vehicle took maybe 5 minutes at the most. The vehicle was great, dependable and comfortable for a long trip. The suv was immaculately clean as well. No surprise charges, super easy process all around.
