Pies are very tasty but chicken is never cooked enough and the result is the meat is tough.
I purchased the individual chicken pot pie and they are great the crust is wonderful. Just had to cook it a lots longer than the instructions said to cook it. Decided to get the 28 oz size. It too will have to be cooked longer than the instructions shoe. I put the frozen pie in the oven @350 degrees and it has cooked for 40 minutes and it is barely unthawed. It will have to cook a lots longer than the instruction show. Probably another 30 minutes. Hope it is good
Mrs Budd's chicken pie tastes fine, but the filling is about 80% gravy. Very skimpy on the meat and vegetables. The cooking directions are way off, as well. The directions specify 65 minutes at 350; it was finally done after 80 minutes at 375 (and yes, my oven temperature is spot on).
Always a wonderful pie. It's my go to comfort food.. delicious every bite..from my very 1st pie off a food truck..to my now family sized white meat chicken pie. You've had me hooked..I have one every week. And I just had to compliment the cooks ! Thank you . THANK YOU. James Patrick.
Have become pretty poor. Empty shell with gravy nothing more. Sad
