Not a fan! Stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered a blt, hard to screw up that sandwich but they did. Bread was toasted and too dried out, picked it up and it just crumbled apart. Cole slaw was bland and flavorless. Best part about the whole lunch, the pickle!
Friendly atmosphere and great service. Great to see the owner helping local school functions.
Great service good food will definitely come back
My son and I had a father son day and decided to have lunch at bucks. The waitstaff were very friendly and attentive. His food was OK but the lettuce and tomatoes looked old and wilted. My onion rings were over cooked. But the brisket sandwich was very good. I have been in there many times and always had good service and food but this time the food was sub par. Hopefully next time it will be better.
Tonight was my third visit to this establishment in 7 months. I even went in with low expectations and was still disappointed. The food and drink prices are great. However, the service is horrible. Three different people got their food, ate, and paid their bills all while I sat with an empty glass. The bartender finally saw my card and asked if I wanted to cash out. I may go back only because there's not much else in this town for an out of towner to do.
Remind me of my home town Big House Burger. Fried pickles and mushrooms. Also, the bar it's not that big but cozy. .
A good place to eat. A lot of locals come here so you know it's good. Our waitress was great. In fact we liked her so much we wanted to introduce her to our single son.
