Before we open our doors at 11am, we start each morning making everything we possibly can from scratch. All of our meats are brought in fresh and then fried, roasted, or smoked on site. Our signature chicken is cut and prepared in our unique style daily and we serve over 100 tons of it each year. My first time at Buckners. Although I'm vegetarian I really enjoyed what I could eat. My mother, who is 96, said it was her can of cooking. The peach cobbler was delicious. Great service

It is mildly pricey (but only mildly, given the potential quantities you might eat) Excellent, simple country cooking done right. May not be the best choice for a single diner, as they bring out everything at once and it tends to go room temp, but there is no doubting the quality of the food
