Before we open our doors at 11am, we start each morning making everything we possibly can from scratch. All of our meats are brought in fresh and then fried, roasted, or smoked on site. Our signature chicken is cut and prepared in our unique style daily and we serve over 100 tons of it each year. Great food served family style.
We went there because we were familiar with the lazy susan concept from Bea's Restaurant in Chattanooga TN. and knew the history of how Buckner's modeled their restaurant from that. Also, we were from the area of Buckner's relatives. Had a great meal and reminisced with some of the family. Nice folks.
