Before we open our doors at 11am, we start each morning making everything we possibly can from scratch. All of our meats are brought in fresh and then fried, roasted, or smoked on site. Consistantly Great Food I've been eating at Buckners for about 20 years and it is always excellent. The menu hasn't changed much but that's a good thing! I agree that the servers are not overly friendly but they do work their rearends off. I especially enjoy the adjoining music hall where you can hear some good Gospel and Bluegrass music on the weekends (FREE!). Restaurant I recently visited Buckners Family Restaurant. I hadn't been there for a couple of years. When are they going to change their food choices? I don't think its changed in years! The restaurant itself also needs to be updated! I don't think the food is worth the price!
Good Food Buckner's has good old fashioned southern food served family style on big round tables. The food is plentiful, and flavorful and the service is fast. The staff is somewhat abrupt unless they know you, but they keep the food coming and everyone can find something to eat out of the elections available. Great place for a family meal.
Southern Truly home cooked, southern food! It is great food, served in a family style way. The food is a bit salty, and the staff are a bit curt, but they do their best to keep your bowls and cups full!!!
Buckner's This is a family style restaurant that serves traditional southern cooking . Nothing much has changed over the years , but the crowds keep coming. On weekends gospel and bluegrass music are on hand.
Buckner’s has really good food, and the wait to be seated shows that it’s a lot of people wanting to have their food. We have always enjoyed the food and it’s well worth the wait!
