After reading the reviews online and already paying for the reservations for stay at the beach house, I was very nervous and worried about what the place would be like when we got there. It was just my husband and myself. We stayed the King Deluxe room on the first floor. Yes it was small, but it was perfect for just he and I. This was set like a bed and breakfast without the service. Small rooms and not all of them have bathrooms. Air conditioners are disgusting and we cleaned the filter.
Thanks for a wonderful experience...we enjoyed our stay for the weekend at Session by the Sea. Quiet and serene! A quaint little place. God bless!
Terrible experience. My boyfriend and I were able to come to the beach a day early and the day of booked a room at the Commander beach house for just a night. We arrived at 11 pm after driving 3 1/2 hours after we got off work. Check in is at the Commander hotel on the boardwalk which is across the street from the beach house hotel. Check in went smoothly and we given our room keys. Upon arrival into our room we immediately noticed the room was not clean. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. A lot of cons with this hotel. The absolute worst and dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been to. The service was TERRIBLE, black mold was everywhere and they wouldn’t give me my money back… and let me just tell you I had a 6 month old with me also. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Don’t ever go there.
