Our credit union was founded in Akron, Ohio in 1933 to give financial support to postal workers. The credit union operated out of the Akron Post Office until 1968. By 1975, our membership grew to include many more members of the community so we changed our name to Buckeye State Credit Union. Was told with the promotion of switching banks I would receive 300 dollars when my first check loaded, it didn’t. I called and spoke with the bank and was told I won’t get it until the end of February.
