In my experience their maintenance team is awesome, timely, helpful and solves the problem. But the leasing office staff are AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. They have an attitude more rancid than sewage water. Treat you like cattle. Both the manager and the student workers act like they are doing you a huge favor to rent you a mold infested unit with inflated prices every new year. They get the job done but expect to be treated as if you’re a piece of dirt under their nails.
I do not understand how they got such high ratings, predatory business practices, clueless staff, they will literally do anything and everything to make a quick buck. Maintenance will NEVER work on any issue the same day, good luck if heating or air conditioning stops working on a Friday evening, emergency contact number is also a joke, nothing will be fixed before Monday 12pm. NEVER renew lease beforehand, they claim not to provide any incentives but then will run promotions on lease renewals around November. Oh and it look... read more
This is by far the worst of 3 rental companies I’ve rented from in the OSU campus area. They will just make things up to take majority of your security deposit. Our blinds were called out as needing repaired before we moved out. So we replaced the blinds called out and informed them. Instead of having someone inspect the blinds again before we moved out like they said they would they just took most of our deposit claiming that every blind in the house was too dirty. Buckeye Real Estate has been a wonderful company to lease from during my time here so far! In my interactions, they have a friendly office staff. Their maintenance team continues to provide excellent customer service and professional timeliness whenever they address any issues that come up. I’m grateful for the turnaround time and it’s always a major sigh of relief. They’re definitely highly recommended! :)
Submitted a maintenance request for a leak and they responded promptly and professionally and they had the leak fixed same night!
