I have been seeing Pennie Bucilla for years, and she is one of the best mental health providers I have ever worked with. Over the course of my life, I have seen several psychiatrists and many of those experiences were less than positive. Pennie is the complete opposite. I started seeing Pennie in highschool and honestly don't believe I'd be alive right now without her help. I tried several other clinics before her and they all treated me like a drug addict for wanting to start some form of antidepressant. She is kind and very good at listening to how you feel. I have recommended several people to her and they have all been as grateful for her as I am.
Pennie was extremely rude and condescending to me. She suddenly discontinued the only medication that helps me before discontinuing care after years. Edit: it is quite strange and unprofessional Bucilla Health Services decided to respond to this review, especially including/alluding to information that never appeared in my review. I am writing to share my experience as a former patient at Bucilla Health Services, where I received care for over five years. While my initial experience with Penny was positive, a significant decline in the quality of care occurred following the pandemic. My concerns stem from several critical incidents.
