Scott Taylor and all of the folks at Buchanan Fire & Outdoor are exceptional. After searching for 1-1/2 yrs for a gas fireplace replacement, from Asheville to SC, I stumbled on BF&O. Scott was at our house to measure the next morning. We replaced an unvented gas fireplace with a vented one. The following Friday Scott and his team were here making the process appear easy and quick. We LOVE our fireplace and so glad we found them. Scott is extremely competent with old school work ethic; a pleasure to work with!
Outstanding service and competitive pricing. And, they're much closer to us in the Asheville area, than the Heat N Glo store in Tennessee. The salesman, Scott, ensured that we were satisfied with the unit and was on site whenever needed. The install crew, led by Jim, was also dedicated and professional.
Very helpful people. Best place to deal with. If they don't have they'll help you find it.

I called ahead to verify that the item I needed was carried and available, on hand, in stock. The representative told me that they had plenty. I drove about 60 miles only to be told that they were on order and not available. When I asked when they would be available, the response was that they did not know if or when. No offer was made to let me know when they would arrive or to cover a delivery charge. They also would not ask other Green Mountain dealers for the item when I asked.
