Bring your Ski Boots and Parka! – This place is silly. The crowd is silly. And the concept is even sillier. However, if you want that "I've just come in from the slopes" feeling, and the bland crowd that usually comes with that, this is your place! Ski boots are encouraged.
Pricey...but nice – Of course you'd expect it to be a little pricey when it's a champagne bar...but nothing worse than many other bars that even worse atmosphere. The Bar staff has always seemed friendly. It's basically a good solid choice. Biggest complaint actually can't be changed easily...the configuration of the bar keeps those sitting there isolated from the rest of the room.
8.5 – My husband and I went on a Tuesday night and we loved the surroundings. There was a great band playing and the service was friendly. It's a little on the expensive side, but I would reccomend it anyway. Comfortable and sophisticated. It is elegant without being stuffy.
one word "Awesome" – This is a great place! I consider it one of New Yorks' best kept secrets, as it has a combination of great service, an awsome array of cocktails and wines, and a good selection of music. Overall it's excellent for romantic dates. It's a bit expensive, but well worth it!!!
great occasion spot – great place to make you feel like a millionaire for the same amount you spend at a neigborhood bar. great selection of champagne, drinks and snacks, priced a little high, but where else can you choose from a book of wine and a list of cavier? sip and snack slow and enjoy the ambiance...I have on many occasions, including my recent birthday and always enjoyed it. and, the service is great.
