I really waned to give more stars but it wouldn't be accurate. The boneless ribs were awesome and I would come back for these but nothing else. The sides were in TINY cups (paid $1.99 extra for the mac and cheese which was only so so and seemed old). Beans tasted like Bush's Beans, out of a can, which I do like but not if I'm paying for them at a BBQ restaurant. I can make a fresh from scratch version better. Awsome Food, great service, all around great place to eat!
We stopped in on Saturday Feb. 18th for our son's birthday bash. Service, food, and dining experience was excellent. The boneless ribs and the St. Louis ribs were awesome. We will definitely be back.
The food is excellent. However the service is terrible. There was 1 waitress for the entire place. One greeter who was asked to bus tables also and didn't do that very well. There were a lot of people waiting to be seated with empty tables waiting to be cleaned off. Some people left.
I had the boneless baby back ribs. Excellent! Tender and able to eat them with a fork! Service was timely and efficient. Restaurant was clean and the memorabilia on the wall was intriguing and very interesting and meaningful if you are a Cleveland area sports fan.
The atmosphere was casual. Very clean. The server was sweet and the food came very fast. We got the Q42 plate, so we had a taste of everything. Great food.
First (and last ) time we've eaten a takeout dinner from Bubba's in Avon Lake, Ohio. I ordered the smoked half chicken, which did not taste of smoke and the leg/thigh piece was raw inside. I had to nuke it in order to eat it. The 'cue sauce, corn muffin and sweet potato fries were average. My husband's pulled pork did not taste of smoke and was average as well. This is the absolute best BBQ that I have ever had! I'm especially fond of the boneless ribs! I've never been a fan of eating off of bones. This is a family friendly atmosphere as well! Definitely making the trip back! It was nice seeing the family enjoying what they do!
Brisket was tough, "burnt ends " were fatty and tough, baked beans tasted like straight out of a can (not even as good as Van De Camps), mac and cheese was worse than Kraft, they were out of greens. Only decent thing was the green beans but even that had more potatoes than beans. Mine was a to go order. When I opened it up at home, the sides were in those small plastic containers that other restaurants use for salad dressing. This was my second visit. Never again!
