It was good eats. However the shrimp gumbo was severely lacking a key basic...the shrimp part to be clear. It was gumbo! Shrimp gumbo I assumed would have shrimp in it! Just honestly truthful.
Great food and service...First time and will be going back
Our server Zac was great. Very pricey, for was you get. We had The Forrest Seafood Feast and we got, two small pieces of fish, five or six shrimp four hush puppies and a lot of french fries and that was $19.94 We also had the shrimp mac & cheese @ $8.99 and it was OK was served to us warm needed to be hotter. The cast-iron skillet that it was served in I could touch it, so it wasn't hot. Will I can say I have been there and done that. Don't think I will be going back anytime soon.
We all, fourteen of us, had a great time.The food was great.Our waiter was funny, professional, he was good at his job!!!!

I love the food and the atmosphere of this place. If you love seafood this is a place you have to try. If you're not a big seafood fan, no worries, my husband hates seafood but they serve other options as well like steak & chicken.
Cool decore, good staff, but them folks trust the gortons fisherman, i once went to bubba gumps in san Francisco and it sucked to, but i thought well its san Francisco so they cant be expected to know how to handle good food, then i went to the one in Gatlinburg and it was equally as crappy. being as im from alabama i hate the fact they are a selling low quality, over priced seafood and attaching our name to it. Really cool place. The food was great as so was the service. Bubba was right. He does know everything about the shrimp business.
