Went to Bry's marine to look at a new 19 center console. While there with my two sons we saw a 19 series Handcock Edition that was already purchased by local law enforcement. We fell in love with it. Unfortunately we could not purchase one as there were none available. Jim treated my sons and I like family. Stayed around for about an hour and chatted. Was charged over $1,518 for a basic service (300 hour engine service) that was quoted at $600. I did not receive a courtesy phone call about inflated bill prior to service nor was there any unexpected issues. I have never had a quote inflated by more than double in my life and I am 53 years old. Just to double check I had a friend call this same dealer for same service on same engine, a week later and he was quoted $800. How can they make a quote for $800 a week after charging me $1,518???? He picked up his boat and motor, paid his bill and we never heard from him again until we saw his post on ******, which was almost two weeks later. I m a long time customer. So far, have bought four boats from them over many years, and a number of motors. Their prices are competitive, they are kind, matter of fact and have tons of experience. It s family owned, so you always deal with the same people, they get to know you, and you them. All this keeps me going back again and again.. During the summer, they try to keep you in the water, that s important.
I really like these guys at Brys! Looking forward to doing more business with them.
