I was referred to this doctor by a colleague for a loved one who is currently hospitalized. Unfortunately, my experience with the receptionist was extremely frustrating. Rather than being helpful, it felt as if they were acting more as a gatekeeper, with constant hurdles and red tape. Despite mentioning that cost was not a concern, the focus remained on fees rather than on providing care for my loved one. There seemed to be little interest in helping us navigate this difficult situation, which was disappointing.
I visit Dr. McQuirt through Teledoc and he is fantastic. He listens, is kind, compassionate, and doesn't push multiple prescriptions (as so many do.) I am truly thankful that I found him during the pandemic. They aren't all created equal and Dr. McQuirt is one of the great ones. If you're having problems or need a new psychiatrist I definitely recommend him.
