I was having major skin issues and the medication he prescribed caused an allergic reaction. He told me to continue to use it for 3 more days. Which I did by the time I went off of it I had to be on a steroid due to the side effects. Then he said the only solution was to take Gabapentin. I said I didn't want to take anything that aggressive. He said that was the only solution. Saw Dr Desmond in 2023 for a Harry Potter lightning brown mark on my nose. He used liquid nitrogen to remove. Looked worse after it healed. He repeated the procedure again 6 months later. Still looked bad after it healed. Went to another dermatologist. Now 2 years after the first visit they discovered Melanoma. Perhaps Dr. Desmond could spend less time looking at his watched? Pissed.
Dr Desmond is great. He takes his time with you.
Dr. Desmond is very good at what he does. He’s friendly and talkative and does a very complete check on whatever is troubling you. I went in for something that was a very simple fix. He looked at it and thought it might be something more, so he sent a sample in for a biopsy. Come to find out, it is skin cancer. He is sending me to a specialist because it is on my face. I’m very grateful he caught it while it is still small.
