About this business

New Yorkers love this small park in the heart of Midtown. With its French benches, colorful flower gardens, green lawn and numerous cultural events, Bryant Park is a peaceful place to take a moment to watch the world go by. Named after poet William Cullen Bryant, the site of this historic park has played an important role in New York City. After being officially designated a public park, the site's fortunes rose and fell with the times. A brilliant restoration in the 1990s transformed the space into the beautiful midtown oas... read more

It was a nice Christmas feeling. I love the tree and a less crowded skating rink compared to the Rock. Snapped a few pics and that was it. Did not bother with the small shops. I would stop for a hot coco or some unique snack but not to buy something. It seemed so unwelcoming that the shops were so cramped and tiny.

First time visiting NYC during Christmas and I must say Bryant Park has it all! A large variety of shops and food vendors, both savory and sweet, a nice sized ice skating rink, and of course a large brightly colored tree. Definitely a place you must visit during the Christmas season.

We were there New Years Eve about 2:00 PM. Quite crowded but manageable. Walked in and out of shops easily and right up to the nicely decorated tree. Liked this tree better than the Rockefeller Center tree. Had a rolled pretzel with chocolate, tasty but a little sloppy to eat on the move. Wasn't interested in skating, but if you were wouldn't suggest you try as a beginner, once again, quite crowded. Shops had some interesting items. Definitely puts you in the holiday mood.
