One of my favorite places to go when I visit New York
Accordions around the world is one of the best free music events in the city! Love the picnic blankets and there should be food/drink vendors every week! Ariana Hellerman of Ariana's List put together a great finale last night!
Clean, energetic, plenty of shade. Restaurants in the park are a bit pricey for lunch, but you can grab lunch at any of the delis or restaurants in the area and chow down at one of the tables near the fountain. Take a couple of hours and check out the NY Public Library on the back side of the park.
My favorite place to go in the city to read, eat, and just relax. :)
