Would not recommend. Had family recommend I don't go see him after he told her if she had a better attitude then maybe she would feel better, but his reviews look good so I went anyway. He disregarded my pain and said I should see a back specialist when the pain is in my hip and upper leg. He took weeks to respond to my MyChart messages after getting the injection he ordered to test where my pain was from. He never did a physical exam of any sort when I met with him in person. I had right shoulder repair surgery on 5-20-2025 with Dr. Bryan Mitchell. I am very pleased with the results. It is very important to follow up with physical therapy which is being done at Evergreen Physical Therapy. I liked the staff at Providence and felt them to be caring and professional. I do exercises three times a day and plan on a trip to Scotland in early Sept. 07-01-25
He may be a wonderful surgeon but he and his staff are not good at communication and continuity of care. I waited for over one month to get his recommendations for surgery after having his ordered an injection. I had to initiate three calls to his office. When he did finally call me he acted like he did not know that he was supposed to have called me with his recommendation of surgery or not. I chose to go elsewhere for my care
Hands down best surgeon. He did 2 hip surgeries and about to do a 3rd one if I can go back to see him fingers crossed I can!!!
Great experience, and fast recovery.
