On 02/06/2023 Borgfeld performed pilonidal cyst surgery on me. During subsequent consultations, I once mentioned to him that I thought the cyst had come back and he told me that this was not possible. Today, almost two years later, I am suffering the same thing with the cyst in the same place and making my life miserable. Hiran Hernandez

Dr Borgfeld did hernia surgery on my husband. Immediately following surgery, husband felt severe uncontrollable pain. Dr B had failed to tie off a blood vessel but thought it unwise to open him back up due to risk of infection. Husband had to just bleed out which took months of pain and suffering. Never again, Dr B. Never again.

Avoid this Doctor at all costs. He’s nothing but a malpractice waiting to happen. I went in for a hernia repair. I ended up loosing a testicle and having a second surgery to repair the twisted mesh he inserted. Dr Borgfeld has cost me thousands of dollars and I plan on reporting him to the medical board.
I have had 25+ surgeries and I can honestly and truthfully say that Dr. Borgfeld is my new favorite sergeant. I had gallbladder surgery this morning and there were questions as to whether it could be done laparoscopically or if it would need to be an open incision. Luckily, he was able to do it laparoscopically and I was home three hours later and I feel fine. A little bit of soreness, which is to be expected. His personality, his demeanor, his professionalism was like a breath of fresh air.
