I have gone to Dr. Burdette for years for my TMJ. It was recommended by my father-in-law who was a dentist.He is very good at resolving issues and cares about his patients.

I went here for a TMJ issue, which the doctor nor any of his colleagues asked about. I was there for over 3 hours, and was never once asked what was going on or what problems I was having. The 'patient advocate' was extremely rude during an hour session of family history, but became very pleasant when she wanted me to buy $70 per month supplements. This was a horrible experience and a complete waste of time. I received no answers on my problem whatsoever, just a card for another doctor?

I only have an extreme problem with their billing manager, Joan. She does not bill health insurance companies properly nor is she able to show proof of their billing/payments from health insurances to explain why you are being charged for services. They have a poorly run billing service. Expect to be overcharged/ insurance not billed.

Dr. Burdette was very thorough. The front office coordinator and treatment coordinator are very friendly and knowledgeable. My issue is with the office manager, Joan. Requested pre-authorizations to my insurance companies were not sent as I was instructed that they would be. Phone calls have not been returned. If there was an option for staff competence, I would not post any stars at all.

I saw Dr Burdette for a mouth guard. He and his assistants seemed competent and answered all my questions. The issue I had was with the office manager, Joan. I was due a refund after insurance paid and it was very difficult to get. I emailed and called Joan with no response. Had to get the insurance co to intervene to get my reimbursement. I don't recommend them for that reason.
