He is a great surgeon. I would not say his bedside manner is the best as far as my own personal experiences have gone. I was in hospital after my final surgery and had three drains coming out of my body and he made mention of my “mental condition” when I asked if he do an additional CT scan to make sure fluid was gone. After having years of severe UC I had to have multiple surgeries. Anyone who’s had serious bowel issues can understand how stressful emotionally and physically it can be on your mind and body. Dr Butler is very personalable with excellent bedside manner. He was also thorough and explained more to me than my previous gastroenterologist. I would definitely recommend him for a colonoscopy procedure.
