Not a good review today. Went to get a specific book that was available per online. Only to be told when I entered that they are closed. Reason because of the holiday. Now one, hours should have been updated on website and two, thanksgiving is Thursday and you are closed on Wednesday. Why would you close early on Monday and Tuesday? Not looking out for your library.patrons.
i enjoy the library but have a few complaints one they need newer books better selection. i would like to see earlier hours too. and one last thing librarian need to keep an better eye on patrons. too much noise a library should be quiet not a pickup bar or people yamering on their phones

We love our local library! Great selection of children's books. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful as well. Mr. John really gets the kids into story time and motion commotion as well.
We are avid fans of the Bruton Memorial Library and often wind down at the end of a day at the library for many reasons: the book selection in every genre is fantastic, particularly for a small town library. We enjoy reading the WALL STREET JOURNAL. and the LAKELAND LEDGER, both of which can be found at the Bruton Memorial Library.
