I’ve been seeing Laura for many years and have loved the experience of seeing her at Brush Salon and Spa! The atmosphere is so welcoming and I’m so comfortable with Laura’s skill and expertise. I recently moved to Monroe after a few hair disaster I found Brush Salon & Spa. I do pin up hairstyles and needed a traditional “middy” cut. This is a precision cut that requires specific layering to achieve the desired effect after curling and brushing out. I called four other salons locally not one even knew of the cut. Wow. I heard great things about this place but I recently took my husband here and I’m SO disappointed. His hair looks awful. Uneven lines, horrible fade. Half trimmed neck hair. Renay rushed through it as she had another client there and her daughter and was doing their hair at the same time. Completely unprofessional and it’s going to take forever to grow my husbands hair back where she cut it SO unevenly. Beyond pissed off is an understatement.
I initially booked at this salon after needing my hair done in a pinch. I was booked with Jodi. The salon itself is beautiful and has a great view of Lake Tye. Jodi was pleasant and did exactly what I asked for. There was some accidental bleeding with my foils, which she fixed that same day. She’s the first person to get so close to the scalp with my foils! I had a FABULOUS experience with Shannon, she is an extraordinary woman and a super talented stylist! I came in with almost a year of dark brown grow-out, and wanted my hair to be blonde again.
